This Was Tomorrow

Trevone Quarry

near Penryn / Mabe, Cornwall

I kept the images and the voices apart on purpose. You see the places - the rooms, the objects, the light - but not the people. You hear the people, but you don’t see them. Neither explains the other. It’s closer to a book than a film: a film hands you everything and you take it in; a book gives you a thread and you do the rest, the imagining, the picturing. I wanted that gap left open.

Look at the image in front of you and maybe listen to the audio below at the same time. Maybe not. Absorb the audio somewhere quiet. Think at the image later.

if you can’t see, listen to the audio only - ask someone to scan the QR code for you on your phone. If you can’t hear look at the image and absorb anything you can. There’ a dream waiting to be caught in there.
