The gap between what you see and what you hear isn’t just aesthetic, it’s functional. The gap forces you to do something. To complete the picture yourself. And that act of completion, however small, is the same as the creative act required to imagine futures that don’t exist yet. 

We live in a time that hands us finished things - finished products, finished stories, finished futures. The people with the resources to dream and build at scale get more practice.  We get their futures to live in.
